Abstract:
The general meaning of the word Yog is – Addition. But in a broader sense, yoga i.e. addition/matching (of soul and God) is called samadhi and restraint. The importance of yoga is unexampled since ancient times. The entire yoga related literature is contained in Sanskrit itself. Yoga is the way to reach Kaivalya, the retirement of all the sorrows of the seeker. Even in modern era, yoga is the only medium through which healthy benefits and union of the soul with the almighty is possible. Yoga is an invaluable gift given to the world by Sanskrit
