STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION ON SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDE OF STUDENTS

Abstract:

The aim of teaching science is to help the students to lead a useful life in the society. Because in today's progressive society new problems are arising. To solve these problems, one has to resort to intelligence, imagination, thinking, understanding, coordination etc., but by the time of high school level, if scientific attitude is not refined, then science subject becomes monotonous and uninteresting. Therefore, the study of the effects of achievement motivation on scientific attitude has been chosen as a research work so that the scientific attitude of the child can be developed from the subtle knowledge of personality and conditions and environment can be created for his advanced personality development. In the present research, positive correlation was found between achievement motivation and scientific attitude in the context of class IX students.
