Abstract:
India and the United States are both democratic countries. Their relationship has always been volatile. They hold distinct positions in their respective regions, but in strategic and power terms, they are at odds with each other. The study of India-US relations is a fascinating subject. The relationship has always been steeped in complexity. With the end of the Cold War, the distinction between nationalism and internationalism is fading away in the era of liberalization and globalization, and both processes are increasingly influencing each other. Therefore, assessing the relationship between the two countries after such changes has become essential. Fundamental shifts in the global landscape have impacted India-US relations in unexpected ways.
