Abstract
DADABHAI NAOROJI
Dr. A. Mukta Vani
Volume: 3 Issue: 1 2013
Abstract:
September 4, 1825, will always be remembered in history because it was on this day that India's illustrious, brave son, Shri Dadabhai Naoroji, was born. He was loved and revered by the people, who, along with calling him the "Great Old Man of India," were also considered the father of Indian nationalism and the pioneer of Indian self-government. He was delighted to be called the "Great Old Man of India." In his own words, "The seeds sown in my youth have borne fruit in the great harvest of love and respect from my countrymen. Is it false that I consider being called the "Great Old Man of India" a great reward? This reflects the immense and grateful love that all my countrymen have for me."
