AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF THE HISTORY OF THE NATIONAL TEAMS IRAQI VOLLEYBALL MATCHES FROM THE SITTING POSITION FOR THE PERIOD 1987-1997

Abstract:

Physical education through its various programs and activities seeks to build the personality of the handicapped individual in order to grow a balanced growth and adapt to the new reality that accompanied him. The volleyball game is at the forefront of sports activities that achieve these goals. The seasons of the year are practiced in closed halls and open playgrounds practiced by young and old, healthy and disabled, young and old, women and men alike. The game of volleyball for the disabled in the Arab countries spread widely, which called for the development of the performance of skills and physical methods of play and this comes only through scientific training and programmer. And highlight the importance of research in a serious attempt of the researcher to find out the sports participation of the volleyball teams from the seating position 1987 to 2017 in particular. As for the research problem, the Union has taken upon itself throughout its founding years to work on laying the correct foundations for the sport of the handicapped in Iraq and developing the sports movement through the establishment of many tournaments and internal competitions as well as being keen to participate in foreign tournaments. Therefore, the researcher decided to delve into this subject, which is not previously dealt with in the form of a scientific study, to start historical and documentary pages to identify the historical development of this sport and its role in the development of the sports movement in Iraq and to recognize the participations of athletes with handicapped volleyball heroes and their achievements. This effort may be a modest scientific contribution for specialists and researchers. Who are affected by the sport of the handicapped in our dear country.
